These copper sections are the same design of those stainless steel extension spools, copper is the preferred material in alcohol distilling, it's known to naturally aid the distillation by removing fusel and help form aromatic substances which makes the alcohol tastes better. Pick one or a few of these sections to build your own column or turn it to a packed column by adding a filter plate at the bottom of the section with copper mesh and spiral etc.
